About Us

The Butcher of Brogdale began back in 2007, when Leroy and Nicky opened a small butcher’s shop at Brogdale Farm in Faversham with a simple aim — to offer great quality meat, honest value, and friendly service that customers could rely on week after week.

From those early days as one family-run shop, the business has grown steadily into a much larger operation, while keeping the same values at its heart. Today, The Butcher of Brogdale proudly serves customers across nine locations and online, giving more people access to the quality, value and service that the business was built on.

The business is now run by their two sons, Olly and Sam, who continue to grow the company while keeping it firmly family-led. Olly looks after our Folkestone and Canterbury stores, as well as helping drive our online and catering business, which was developed and expanded during the challenges of Covid. Sam oversees the wider store group and is often found working hands-on in our shops, making sure every customer receives the level of service we are known for.

As we’ve grown, one thing has never changed: we believe great butchery starts with great people, great products, and treating customers properly. Whether you are shopping for a family roast, stocking the freezer, picking up a weekly meat pack, ordering online for local delivery, or buying for a business through our catering service, our aim is always the same — to offer the best quality we can at the best possible price.

We are proud to combine traditional butchery values with a modern way of shopping. Alongside our stores, we now offer online ordering, local delivery, click & collect, and a growing catering and wholesale service supplying restaurants, pubs, schools and other businesses.
