Delivery Information
Product Weights & Accuracy
All items for sale on www.butcheroftbrogdale.co.uk are sold as unit items with indicative weights. With some products, we butcher from whole carcasses. Whilst we always endeavour to be as accurate as possible with weights, there is naturally a small margin of error.
The Butcher of Brogdale therefore reserves the right to apply a 10% margin to the weights of each unit.

This means an item may be up to 10% above or below the stated unit weight.

If the weight supplied is more than 10% below, you will be entitled to a pro-rata refund.

If the weight falls within the 10% margin, then no refund will be applied.
We include this margin to ensure fair, consistent pricing for all customers while maintaining our commitment to traditional butchery practices.

Kent & South East London – delivered in our very own refrigerated vans by our friendly drivers.

Nationwide – we also offer delivery across the rest of the UK via our trusted courier partner DPD.

How We Pack Your Order
Your order will be freshly prepared by our skilled butchers, vacuum-packed, and carefully boxed with chilled packaging to keep everything in perfect condition until it reaches you.
Click & Collect
Prefer to pick up your order? Choose Click & Collect at checkout and collect from your nearest Brogdale store at a time that suits you.
Missed Deliveries
If you’re not home, our driver (or DPD) will leave your order in a safe place where possible to ensure your products remain fresh.

DPD Notes (Nationwide Deliveries)

DPD handles delivery of all UK orders outside our local van delivery areas.

You will receive an email and/or SMS notification on the day or the day before your delivery with a time slot.

We recommend using the DPD App if you have any special instructions for your driver in case you’re not at home.

If DPD is unable to deliver due to no access and no alternative option has been selected via the DPD notification link, your order will be returned to the depot.

Peak Times (e.g. Christmas): Once your parcel has been collected by DPD from The Butcher of Brogdale, we cannot be responsible for delays in their service. DPD will keep you updated on any revised delivery times.

Please note: Due to the nature of our products, DPD does not offer a second delivery attempt. If delivery fails because DPD could not gain access or no alternative arrangements were made, The Butcher of Brogdale cannot accept responsibility and no refund will be available.
