This is not the first time I've bought whole fillets and I accept the weights state between 1.6kg and 2kg. Unlike before though where I had one around the 1.6kg the other was around the 2kg mark, these two were just about 1.6kg. One of the fillets wasn't as good quality as the other either but that said, for the price, I have a good number of fillet steaks for not a lot of money. The not so great steaks will go to making other dishes so I'm still really pleased with my purchase.
Good size joint put straight into freezer for use in the New Year when we have guesta.
